What's new: Summer's Frolicking's and more...

It’s been a while since I last checked in.
I spent the end of spring and summer slowing down, processing the world’s events, resurfacing to redefine what peace means to me, finding stillness, and rediscovering joy. Movement, meditation, centering practices, and routines filled with play, beauty, and nature walks have become my daily essentials. During this time, I added new skills to my repertoire, blending myofascial and Thai massage and stretching into an already rich toolbox. I’ve always had a deep desire to learn and serve—and it’s also a lot of fun.
Guiding people to awareness of their experience and body has always been a calling in all my years of work. Through words, somatic practices, facilitation, movement, and so much more, the transformative experience becomes palpable when clients sense a shift in their body without my intervention, so much so that the massage following it becomes even more profound and relaxing. Integrating the work, embodying core competencies and ethics, and exploring new approaches has been part of my mission.
Sarasessions podcast shares stories of everyday heroes offering their experiences, knowledge, and insights on health, passion, purpose, and resilience, while demystifying topics that matter today. New episodes are coming soon, but in the meantime, past conversations remain as rich as ever.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is step back—finish projects, care for yourself, slow down, and find stillness.
Stillness to listen without distraction, to notice the unspoken, to reconnect with the inner self.
Sometimes, both happen at once.
Lots ahead—stay tuned.
Something to Consider:
The Foundation of Fluidity: Why Your Feet Are Your Compass

Your feet are your compass because they’re the first place your body meets the world. Every step, shift, and micro‑movement sends information upward through your joints, fascia, and nervous system. When your feet are awake, aligned, and responsive, your whole body organizes around them—your center of gravity settles, your balance sharpens, and movement becomes efficient instead of effortful.
They’re not just the bottom of your body. They’re your orientation system, your stability map, your movement GPS.
3 simple ways to work your feet for proprioception, stability & mobility
1. Toe Spread + Foot Wake‑Up
Stand or sit and gently spread your toes apart.
Lift the big toe while keeping the others down, then switch.
Roll a ball under the arch, heel, and toes. Why it works: It reactivates the small intrinsic foot muscles that tell your brain where you are in space.
2. Short Foot Activation
Stand tall and lightly “draw” the arch upward without curling your toes.
Hold for 5–8 seconds, release, repeat. Why it works: This strengthens the deep stabilizers that support balance and alignment through the knees, hips, and pelvis.
3. Heel‑to‑Toe Rocking
Shift your weight slowly from heels to toes, then side to side.
Keep the movement smooth and controlled. Why it works: It trains your center of gravity to move with you instead of against you, improving gait and joint mobility.
The Big Toe Spotlight
Small Member, Massive Impact
Did you know that your big toe is the primary stabilizer of your arch and the final point of thrust during your stride? When the big toe lacks mobility or strength, the body compensates by shifting the center of gravity, leading to imbalances that can cause chronic pain.

Daily Rituals for Stability

Toe Splaying Spread your toes wide to reset the nervous system.

Arch Lifts Isolate the small muscles of the foot to build core stability.

Big Toe Isolation Lift only your big toe to strengthen the gait cycle. better yet, try it with each toe for an extra fun challenge.
