The Help Center: FAQ

What exactly is somatic coaching, in simple words?

Somatic coaching facilitates change by engaging both your mind and body. Instead of solely discussing challenges, we also observe body signals (such as breathing, posture, or tension) to modify patterns and explore new opportunities.

How is somatic coaching different from traditional coaching?

Traditional coaching often focuses on mindset, goals, and strategies. Somatic coaching includes the wisdom of the body, which stores emotions and habits. This makes the work deeper and often more lasting.

What’s the difference between a massage session and a somatic coaching session?

Massage relaxes muscles and brings temporary relief. Somatic coaching goes beyond the physical release: it helps uncover the root causes of stress or tension, so you can make meaningful changes in daily life.

Who is somatic coaching for?

It is for anyone who feels stuck, stressed, or disconnected, and who wants to move forward in a grounded way. People often come to somatic coaching during life transitions, when they want more clarity, confidence, or resilience.

What can I expect from a session?

A session usually includes conversation, guided awareness of your body, and simple practices to support change. It is always collaborative, safe, and adapted to your pace.

What results can I expect after a few sessions?

Many clients feel calmer and more connected after only a few sessions. Over time, they notice more choice in how they respond to challenges, and a greater sense of ease and alignment in daily life.

How many sessions will I need?

Every journey is unique. Some people find what they need in a handful of sessions, while others choose ongoing coaching as a way to support personal growth over time. We can discuss what is best for you after your first session.

What if I’m skeptical or nervous about body-based work?

That is completely normal. We move at a pace that feels comfortable to you, and nothing is ever forced. Many clients who start out unsure discover how natural and practical this approach feels once they try it.

Why invest in this type of coaching?

Think of it as investing in long-term change. A massage or quick fix can help for a moment, but somatic coaching addresses the deeper patterns so you can experience lasting transformation in how you feel, respond, and live while creating a lifestyle and habits aligned to your needs and desires.

What’s the difference between a coaching-only session and a hybrid coaching bodywork session?

Because transformation isn’t just a thought—it’s a feeling.
Hybrid sessions blend the clarity of coaching with the healing of bodywork, guiding you from insight to embodiment. You’ll release what’s stuck, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with your inner wisdom. Together, they accelerate transformation by aligning mind and body—so you don’t just understand change, you embody it.
It’s not just about talking through change—it’s about becoming it.

What is bodywork vs massage?

Bodywork sessions weave together 17 years of integrative techniques—craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and intuitive massage styles—designed to support deep healing and whole-body wellness.
Each session is unique, responsive, and collaborative. You may remain fully clothed, move on or off the table, and engage in gentle positions or guided movement.
We don’t chase symptoms—we listen for root causes, inviting alignment and reconnection within your body’s natural intelligence.
Massage is one thread in this tapestry—focused on soft tissue and muscular relief. Bodywork goes deeper, restoring flow where it’s been blocked and creating space where it’s been compressed.
You are not broken.
You are becoming.
Let’s meet your body where it is—and move together toward wholeness.
